I’m really hoping that my mom goes for this 2010 Lexus RX450h “AWD.” She wants a commuter car that isn’t a sedan for around $20k which will replace the 2004 Camry she has had since new (it’s been sitting dead for at least a year now).
She has the weekend with the RX before making a decision one way or another on Monday evening. She was extremely excited taking this home Saturday afternoon but I wanted her to have time to live with the car, take it home, take it to church, drive it on her work commute and be confident in the decision.
I’ll update here later.

Wasn’t the Jaaag originally for her?

Your mom is adorable and looks like she’s in a commercial to sell the car (not in a grounded to the ground sort of way! She just looks so happy about it.)
Also, props for managing to kill a Camry.

It was to hold her over since I wanted to buy a Jag regardless. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to let go of the Camry and get another car two years ago. So I found something I liked and she would like as well (that’s why it’s an XF and not an XJ) and made a deal that she will drive it on the weekends and that would allow me to keep the car in her garage and never sitting too long since I live in an apartment and have the Amanti and Grand Cherokee. Pretty much a win-win.
Here is the issue. I thought she would daily the Camry and just drive the Jag on the weekends. Instead, the Camry has been sitting in her driveway for a year now broken without any incentive to fix it since the Jag has been reliable and she has been driving it everyday. So once she said that she wanted to buy a car all her own to finally replace the Camry I jumped at the idea, found something I was confident she would love.
She still has it to drive weekends, but with the Jag now being paid off and having been a passenger while she drove the XF...truthfully...I feel far more comfortable now.

She’s definitely a cute and ferocious little lady. Love her immensely!
